TREY WELCOMES CRITIQUE

We're very fortunate. We're sitting in a lucky place. We've got an audience that listens critically to our music. And to me, it's a great thing having people complaining about certain things, but who will also notice when we do something particularly good.

MiguelSanchez i'm glad he welcomes solid criticism, good and bad, because there is no shortage of opinions on his music! hopefully, this year, he realizes everyone should be pretty damn happy! if 1/1/11 is a sign of things to come, the boys will be eating high on the hog in 2011!

Fitz2001 So Trey welcomes criticism . . . 15 years ago? Come on phish.net, you're better than this.

tweezer This quote is dedicated to all the hippies who wear the "Stop Analyzing and Enjoy" t-shirts at shows.

flufftail ah, trey. I believe what you mean to say is..." Something particularly WELL"

highhat I would like to hear more of the NEW material.
2.0, 3.0 Phish is great! (and outtakes)
Embrace the side-projects' catalog as well...

Why not play an entire set of just NEW songs??
Especially if they're of the collaborative arrangement....please, thank you

p.s. Swept Away > Steep have become LAME with the new arrangements
and If I Could is no longer an amazingly strong ballad with it's reworking--[please remedy]

Lemuria Fitz2001, not sure what the problem is, but I hope you're not opposed to being exposed to quotations, interviews, and more from wayback, cuz there are lots here. Most are backdated when posted, but I let a quotation or two go through up top when the blog's been slow for a few days, and the backdate them - as I've now done this one.

Fitz2001 It's titled in the present tense, it should read "Trey welcomed critique"
