And since we're entirely volunteer – with no office, salaries, or paid staff – administrative costs are less than 2% of revenues! So far, we've distributed over $2 million to support music education for children – hundreds of grants in all 50 states, with more on the way.
@Alexj2: Indeed, legendary and fantastic video all around. I hope it does get put all together sometime and released: would be great.
And on another note... Funny that Herring says that about Phish. I remember once I was shooting the breeze with Fishbeck (first roadie before Brad) right after load-in. He was going on & on about how smoking hot ARU was. Trey walked by and said, "Who are you talking about, ARU?" Fishbeck said yes, and then Trey started preaching the gospel of ARU, how HE'S embarrassed when they play on same bill together and that they are "fucking incredible".
Apparently, a ton of mutual respect to say the least.
I saw that interview a few days cause my buddy Ethan did it with Herring! Thought he did a very good job and then I got to the end and well... the things Herring about the boys just put an huge indelible smile on my face!
Big ups to Ethan Varian at guitarworld. His other articles are well worth reading too check em out!
