Review by evanthayer

evanthayer This was my first Phish show. A few people I knew from summer camp sent me a cassette of lawnboy (with fee!) and I wore it out over the summer. I got my driver's license earlier that year and I was the only one who's mom would let me borrow the Honda. My friends came up on the train, joined me and my GF and we drove over to Portchester and joined the scene. We had tickets in the orchestra about a third of the way back from the stage in roughly the center. There was a lot of weed being smoked in the theatre and the mood was very optimistic and friendly. I was straight edge at that time but my GF partook. Once the band got going we were grooving and getting down with the crowd and the balcony shaking above and behind us. The band was very happy and connected with the crowd. I didn't know it at the time but the set list was incredible and I got to hear some of the great songs done with joy and expertise.

This concert changed me as a person.
